(Aid-4-Women-KCK) CONFIRMED SAVE; Kevan & Deana Myers:
Kevan and his wife have been comming out on-site on Fridays, for about a month, just as a precaution, because they got word that some abortions were occurring on Fridays. Today it paid off. A young Hispanic couple (possibly married) were going in for an abortion, but stopped to talk to Kevan and Deana. After a few minutes of conversation, Mark, the Security Guard / Owner, came out to bring the Hispanic couple in for their schedule abortion. However, when he insisted that they come in they refused, and continued considering other options, including the KCFL offer of financial help. As time went on, the young couple became more convinced that keeping their child was the right thing to do. They NEVER went into the abortion facility. Unknown to either Kevan or Deana or to the young Hispanic couple is that this was the last day for abortions at Aid-for-Women. |
