CONFIRMED SAVE; Donna Lampkin:
At about 12:30 pm, two Caucasian ladies who appeared to be in their 20's came into Tiller's parking lot in a car with Butler County, KS tags. They did not stop on their way in, but Donna called out to them as they walked across the parking lot, urging them not to kill their baby. However, they did not respond, (until later).
At about 2:45 pm, they came out of Tiller's, and voluntarily stopped at the gate to talk to Donna.
Both of them looked like they had been crying, however, only one of the ladies is pregnant. She was in the passenger seat and is from Augusta, Kansas.
When Donna found out that she had decided against having her abortion, Donna offered her a baby blanket. She accepted the baby blanket and some printed literature from Donna.
Donna asked her why she had changed her mind about having the abortion, and she said that they told her that she was not far enough along to have the abortion yet ...and that she would have to wait and schedule her abortion later.
However, rather than schedule the abortion, she took this as "a sign" that she was not supposed to have the abortion.
While she was still talking to Donna, Tiller's Security Guard, Carl Swinney, came out and ordered them to leave the parking lot. The rude manner in which he ordered them to leave is further indication that Tiller's staff did not intend to see these two ladies again.
They left without completing her completing her explanation of why she had changed her mind, or why she felt she needed the abortion in the first place. |
