CONFIRMED SAVE; Donna Lampkin:
A red Trans Am, with Sedgwick County, Kansas tags, that came into Tiller's at about 8:30 am, came out of Tiller's parking lot at 9:25 am.
On their way out, the driver stopped and rolled down his window, wanting to speak to Donna.
The young Hispanic couple in the car had decided against having their scheduled early-term abortion, and they wanted Donna to know that they were keeping their baby.
This car had NOT stopped to accept literature on their way in, and the young man felt apologetic about that, and about considering an abortion in the first place.
The young man could speak both English and Spanish, but the young lady did not speak enough English to communicate without a translator.
They would have gone into Choices Medical Clinic, however, Choices did not have a Spanish Language volunteer on staff at that moment, and rather than wait, the young man said that they would return later to see what Choices had to offer, but in any case, they were not going to have an abortion.
As of 12:00 Noon today, the car was not seen again at either Tiller's or at Choices Medical Clinic.
This is the first day that abortions are being preformed at Tiller's facility, since July 27th.
We are very sickened and sad that the practice of killing babies in Wichita has started again, after being stopped for nearly a month. Nevertheless, we are thankful that the life of this child was spared.
Please join us in asking God's help and guidance in doing the right thing to permanently close this death chamber.
