  CONFIRMED SAVE; Donna Lampkin:

At about 12:30 pm, a vehicle with Louisiana tags, came slowly past Tiller's, southbound on Bleckley Street, but did not come in. Then a few minutes later, it came northbound on Bleckley, and pulled over to the side of Bleckley Street near Choices Medical Clinic, where Donna could talk to them.

The couple, an Asian-Indian couple, 6-months pregnant, had recently moved to Hutchinson, KS. They were concerned that she was going to mis-carry. Donna tried to talk them out of going into Tiller's but after talking to them for a few minutes, they went into Tiller's parking lot anyway. They were following directions from their doctor in Hutchinson. However, before they went in to Tillers, they accepted some printed literature from Donna.

They stayed in Tillers until about 12:45 pm, and then came back to the gate. Donna directed them again to Choices Medical Clinic. The woman was sick, and she was throwing-up nearly continuously.

Donna went with them to Choices Medical Clinic and introduced them to the staff. They stayed at Choices Medical Clinic until about 3:15 pm.

When they came out of Choices, the couple walked over to Donna, who at this point was sitting under the shade tree with KCFL volunteer, Kevin Weber, who had come to relieve Donna. The couple just wanted to say "Thank you!" to Donna.

The couple was in a good mood, and she had stopped throwing-up. They thanked Donna for her help and concern, and they showed Donna and Kevin the sonogram photos.

In conversation, Donna and Kevin learned that since Choices Medical Clinic had told them that there was no medical reason to assume that she was going to mis-carry, (like she did on her previous two pregnancies) they were not going to have an abortion.

Donna offered, and they accepted, a baby blanket.
