  UNUSUAL INCIDENT:

While Betty Jean Patterson was on-site, filling in for another KCFL volunteer who could not make her shift, a young man with two children with him in his white pick-up truck, came out of Tiller's parking lot.

Betty could see that the man had been crying, and she asked him if there was anything that she could do to help him.

The man was here from Texas, and he had driven to Wichita in an attempt to stop his wife from having an abortion.

His wife is (or was) pregnant with twins, who had tested positive for the possibility of having Downs Syndrome.

His wife came to Wichita with another man, a family member, possibly her own father, to have the abortion against her husband's will. His wife had left Texas and drove to Wichita in a separate vehicle, and this man, who had no intention of allowing the abortion, followed them as soon as he realized that his wife had gone.

He was unsuccessful in his attempt to stop the abortion.

Betty Jean successfully directed the man to Choices Medical Clinic, next door to Tiller's facility for counseling, after providing a certain measure of on-site counseling herself, particularly on the topic of "Baptism of Desire" for his now dead twin babies.

Please keep this man and his family in your prayers, as he is filled with grief and sorrow by what was done to his unborn babies at the Tiller abortion facility today.
