CONFIRMED SAVE: Carmen Wittler and Keith Mason:
At about 3:45 pm a young Caucasian couple in an old Dodge Neon that was in poor condition, and had been partially repainted, came into Tillers. The car had Kansas Tags, but the county is unknown.
There were five volunteers on-site at the time. In addition to Carmen and Keith, Kevin Weber and Margaret Mans were on site, as was a friend of Keith's.
The car did not stop at the gate, but it parked near the gate. It was obvious that both the young lady and the young man looked at the Truth-truck when they got out of their car, and before going into Tillers.
After, walking into Tiller's building, the man came out to work on his car, where volunteers at the gate tried to talk to him.
After being in Tillers for about five minutes, the lady came out of Tiller's, and she was crying.
They got in the car, and proceeded to leave, but stopped briefly at the gate and reported to the volunteers that they: "were not going to do it!
Below is an e-mail from Carmen:
Hi Mark,
I wanted to let you know that we did have a save yesterday, 21 December 2006 at Tillers clinic.
At approximately 3:45 pm an older colorful Dodge Neon with Kansas tags came thru the gate and parked inside Tiller parking lot near the gate. It was a young white couple.
I was inside the truth truck at the time, watching them. Kevin Weber and Margaret Mans were praying the Rosary. The woman had a small paper bag with her as they went into Tillers building.
They came back out within 5-minutes.
At this time Keith Mason (Operation Rescue), his brother from L.A., Kevin Weber and myself were at the gate. We all were watching as the man had some car troubles, and couldnt get the vehicle started, he proceeded to put in Anti-freeze in the radiator. He got the car started and was rushing out of the gates, I thinking he as in a hurry for fear the car wouldnt start again.
Keith told the man that there was other options than abortion.
The man slowed down enough to say thats why were not going to do it!
This save was witnessed and heard by Keiths brother, Kevin Webber, and myself.
I m glad to for the men at the gate because they were more effective with this couple.
I praise God for all the good men working in this Pro-life mission.
