CONFIRMED SAVE; Donna Lampkin & Margaret Mans:
At around noon, two Hispanic ladies in a new blue / grey Chevy Malibu with 30-Day Kansas Tags came into Tiller's Parking Lot. Donna attempted to get them to stop on the way in, but they drove past slowly and parked on the south side near the gate.
As soon as they parked on the south side, Donna prepared and positioned herself to call to call out to them as she anticipated that they would walk across the parking lot to Tiller's front door. However, they never got out of their car.
A half an hour passed, and they were still sitting in the car, when Tiller's Security Guard, Carl Swinney, came out and approached their car, attempting to get them to come inside.
Instead of coming inside, they drove out of Tiller's parking lot, and stopped at the gate to talk with Donna and Margaret Mans. They talked at length.
They told Donna and Margaret that they had been sitting there, debating the options of whether or not to go through with an abortion, and had decided against it.
Donna gave them some literature, and offered them a baby blanket. They accepted both.
Donna then invited them to go to Choices Medical Clinic, and they accepted the offer. Since Choices was busy, with hardly a spot to park, Donna went in with them, to assure that they were given priority treatment.
They stayed in Choices Medical Clinic for over an hour, leaving after Donna had completed her shift.
In conversation with them, prior to them going into Choices Medical Clinic, Donna and Margaret had asked them why they had changed their mind. Interestingly, they said that they did not know exactly what it was that made them change their mind, only that they knew that it was the right thing to do.
The power of prayer remains our most effective tool, more powerful than the Truth-truck, the cross-display and the literature combined. |
