Closing Shift. At about 5:35 pm a young black couple, both in their 20's or early 30's, in a new dark-colored SUV pick-up (tag unknown) was leaving Tillers, when they stopped on the driveway so that the lady could open her door in an attempt to vomit on the driveway.
While waiting for her to vomit and dry-heave, I offered the man help at Choices Medical Clinic. He did not want to talk, but he spoke enough to decline my offer of help.
They stopped twice more while northbound on Bleckley Street, for her to open the car door to vomit. The lady looked to be in terrible shape. Not only was she trying to throw-up, but she had been crying as well. She appeared to me to be in need of medical care, as well as being in need of emotional support.
In that the lady was vomiting, chocking, and dry-heaving all at once, it did not look to me like she should have been released from medical care yet. But this is closing time, and Tiller's employees are perhaps ready to go home for the day.
One could not help but feel sorry for the lady, because her grief and sadness is only beginning today. I doubt that her grief will end until the day she dies.
The well-dressed young man did not look very happy either. |
