  CONFIRMED SAVE, + TURN-AROUND-1 & 2; Donna Lampkin:

CONFIRMED SAVE:

(This Confirmed Save actually occurred about a month ago; exact date is unknown. It is being recorded on today's record because we found out about it today.)

While Donna was on-site, a young lady who is now five months pregnant with a little boy, came out of Choices Medical Clinic, where she had been in for a follow-up appointment. She approached Donna at Tiller's gate, and thanked Donna for being there. She also told Donna to thank others who were at the gate about a month ago, for helping her to change her mind.

She told Donna that about a month ago, she came in to Tiller's for a consultation and abortion, and ignored the people at the gate who tried to get her to go over to Choices Medical Clinic. However, even though she ignored them, she wondered what services they could offer someone in her predicament.

She stayed in Tiller's building a long time, and went through all the preparations to have the abortion. But at the last minute, she decided against having an abortion, thinking maybe there was a better alternative option for her.

Donna asked her about the date that she was in, but she could not give the exact day. Nevertheless, Donna talked to her long enough to determine that she was NOT one that we had counted previously as a turn-around.)

The lady told Donna that she based her decision not to abort, on the people at the gate who tried to get her to go to Choices Medical Clinic. She said that she thought that Donna herself was one of the people there, but that she was not sure. The point was, she wanted to thank whom ever it was at the gate, who called out to her, telling her that Choices Medical Clinic could give her all the help she needed.

This lady is planning to give her baby up for adoption, and she is very happy with the help and support that she is receiving from the good people at Choices Medical Clinic.

We have more information, of a personal nature about her, that may be shared at a later time.

She is from Butler County, KS, and she says that she is 100% sure that adoption is going to be a much better option than an abortion would have been.

It is important for all of our volunteers to know, that some saves occur due to our presence on-site, even when we do not even know that they are happening.

This incident is proof of that.

TURN-AROUND-1:

An Asian couple in a White Sedan with KS Tags (tag number is on file in gate-log) who came in at 12:10 pm, and did not take literature at the gate. Donna attempted to talk to them in the parking lot, but they did not reply. However, about one hour later, at 1:10 pm the couple left, ...too soon to have had an abortion.

As of October 18th, this vehicle has not returned to Tiller's parking lot.

TURN-AROUND-2:

A Caucasian couple with Kingman County, KS tags came into Tillers at about 1 pm, along with the afternoon early term abortion clients. Donna attempted to talk to them in the parking lot, but they did not reply. However, about 15 minutes later, at 1:10 pm the couple left, ...too soon to have had an abortion.

As of October 18th, this vehicle has not returned to Tiller's parking lot.
