CONFIRMED SAVE: At about 1:40 pm, the driver of a pick-up truck towing a flatbed trailer, with Arkansas Plates that had been in Tiller's parking lot all morning, came out and stopped at the gate to tell Donna that they did NOT have their scheduled abortion, and that they had decided against it. In the vehicle with the driver was two females (only one was pregnant), all were in their 20's.
Earlier in the morning, when they came in, they had taken literature from volunteers on-site. It is likely that the hand-out material helped them change their mind.
It is possible, that this being a late-term abortion, that the cost of the procedure may have also been a contributing factor in their decision to keep the child. Judging from their clothing and the condition of their vehicle and trailer, money was in short supply. |
