At about 1:42 pm, a car carrying a young African-American couple, who appeared to be in their 20s, came southbound on Bleckley Street, and entered the South Wind Parking Lot so quickly that Bryan did not have a chance to offer literature to them.
Bryan said: "I just tried to call out to them saying, 'You don’t have to keep your appointment here…' and 'to trust God with their decision', but I don’t know if they heard me."
In any case, something caused them to have second thoughts about the abortion appointment …possibly the proLife signage on this, or a previous visit, OR, perhaps just Bryan’s presence there, because they certainly knew why Bryan was there!
Eight minutes after entering, at 1:50 pm, they came back out, and voluntarily stopped at the gate to talk with Bryan. They told Bryan that they had given it more thought, and that they had decided against having the abortion. They were going to have their baby, and they wanted to share that good news with Bryan.
In the brief conversation, Bryan told them that "life is a blessing" and the young couple agreed. Bryan offered further help, which they declined, but the young man asked Bryan to pray for them.
Both seemed happy with their decision to keep their child.
