CONFIRMED SAVE: (Anna Myers) A young-looking African American girl, who appeared to be in her 20's, went into South Wind for an Abortion appointment, but stopped her car at the gate on her way out, to tell Anna that she had decided against having the scheduled abortion. She took literature from Anna and talked with Anna long enough to confirm that she was going to give her baby life, and that her decision was final. The South Wind Security Guard, Carl Swinney, came out and chased her off the driveway while she was still talking to Anna. The girl, who is from Wichita, did not get a chance to say exactly what had made her change her mind. It is possible that it was nothing more than our signage, or other unknown reasons. She is not known to have come in before or to have taken literature on a previous visit. |
