At about 3:pm, a young man who appeared to be between the ages of 25 and 30, drove into Tiller's parking lot and parked on the south side where employees park.
He was not here to pick up a female client, rather, he was just a passer-by who was curious about the white Crosses that he saw as he drove past.
When he got out of his car, he asked KCFL volunteer, Therese, why we had all the Crosses placed beside the building. He was not aware that Tiller's facility is an abortion chamber, nor was he even completely aware of what abortion is.
Nevertheless, Tiller's Security Guard, Carl Swinney apparently assumed that he was a KCFL volunteer, because he was talking to Therese, and he came out and rudely threatened to arrest him if he did not leave. The guy was not in the mood to be pushed around, and he questioned Carl's right to demand that he leave.
Carl became verbally abusive, using loud and strongly profane language. The young guy was shocked, and went back to his car and left. He talked to Therese more on his way out, while parked on the driveway and street. |
