TURN-AROUND: (Marilyn and Jo Ann Wendling) At about 3:30 pm a Black Father/Daughter couple came into the South Wind Abortion Facility seeking either an abortion or abortion information. They stopped on the driveway and accepted Literature from sidewalk counselors, Marilyn and Jo Ann Wendling. Marilyn tried to talk them out of having the abortion, but neither one of them was very talkative. However, they listened to what Marilyn was telling them and asking them to do. Marilyn wanted them to go over to the proLife Choices Medical Clinic next door. After about 3 minutes, Carl Swinney, the South Wind Security Guard, who had likely seen what was going on, on the security camera, came out and ushered them into the South Wind parking lot. Within less than 10 minutes time, they came out of the South Wind facility, and, as Marilyn had urged them to do, they went to Choices Medical Clinic. When Jo Ann and Marilyn left at 4:00 pm the Father/Daughter couple were still at Choices Medical Clinic. No further information is available. KCFL counts Turn-Arounds at 50% due to the lack of certainty of the final outcome in these kinds of situations. |
