CONFIRMED SAVE; Donna Lampkin:
An abortion bound client from Emporia, Kansas, who was coming in for an abortion with her mother, stopped on Bleckley Street, between Choices Medical Clinic and Tillers, to talk with Donna. They accepted literature from Donna, but then went on into Tiller's parking lot.
However, a short time later, they came back out again and stopped at the gate to talk to Donna. They told Donna that they had changed their mind about having the abortion. Donna asked them what had made them change their mind, and they told Donna that it was the literature that she had given to them. (Donna had given them both the OSA material, as well as the KCFL News Release about Christin Gilbert's death.)
Before they left, Donna invited them to go to Choices Medical Clinic, but they declined, explaining that they have access to a similar service that is in Emporia.
They accepted a baby-blanket from Donna as a gift for the baby. |
