TURN AROUND; Donna Lampkin, Jennifer Brown and Ric Dugan:

At about 12:45 pm, a Vietnamese lady who was heading into Tillers stopped at the gate to talk to the sidewalk counselors. In a separate vehicle, her friend came in as well, but she is not pregnant.

After talking briefly, they parked at the south end of Tiller's lot, then walked back out to the gate to talk more to the KCFL volunteers at the gate, without having gone into Tiller's building at all.

Tiller's Security Guard, Carl Swinney, came out and yelled at the KCFL volunteers, who were busy talking to the two ladies, but he was unable to get them to come in to Tillers. (The more he yelled, the less inclined the ladies were to follow him into the building.)

Fortunately, Ric had some old KCFL Vietnamese language literature with him, which he shared with the ladies. The sidewalk counselors, Donna and Jenny, were able to talk the ladies out of ever going into Tiller's building.

Choices Medical Clinic is closed today, (the day before Thanksgiving) but Jennifer Brown first attempted to get them to go to another Crisis Pregnancy Center. However, unable to make those arrangements work, Jennifer made arrangements to meet them at Choices Medical Clinic on Monday.

Jennifer successfully met with her on Monday, and she was given a sonogram at Choices Medical Clinic. However, there is no confirmation that she will keep her baby. This lady is Buddhist, and is very indecisive. One of her reasons for wanting to have the abortion is that she feels that her 13-year-old daughter will run away from home, "if she does not have the abortion". Jennifer and a Vietnamese speaking ProLifers are continuing to work with her.
